Clyde has been working as an interior designer for more than twenty-five years. He began his profession with some prominent interior design firms, such as HBA and DKA, and gained invaluable experience over the years. In 1993, he set up his own interior design firm and has been involved in various kinds of projects covering interior designs and project management. Some of the more remarkable accomplishments are the Hyatt Hotel at Melbourne, the Hyatt Hotel in Macau, Kinabalu Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Pacific Hotel in Singapore, Jingling Hotel in Nanjing, the VIP Tower of Peking Hotel in Beijing, the BOC Building in Fujing, and the UA cinemas in Wuhan and Chongqing. In Addition, Clyde was appointed to enhance the new image design for the Bank of China (HK) Group and to act as the design Consultant to the Bank of Communications.

To broaden his horizon, Clyde enrolled on a design programme offered by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and was awarded Master of Design in 2008.

In 2008, Clyde Wong Collection, the first book which contains the collection of his home design projects was published and distributed worldwide.
